It’s true!

How do I know?

Because it’s a scientific report you idiot, duh!

I’m not sure if you’re educated enough to know this, so I’m gonna lay it out for you!

News flash: If it contains the word, “scientific” it has to be true, it’s a federal law or something like that.

Can’t believe you didn’t know that!

Anyways, be careful tonight while you’re sitting by the tv and make sure to place the mask over your kids faces following all commercial breaks.

If you really believe that…please send me your debit card, social security number and children’s birth certificates…none of them are safe in your hands.

Hopefully there’s a 110% chance you knew that was false right away?? Good! I thought so!

But what if…

I had said something like…”Scientific study reports-Your son’s arm is at risk for career ending injury and his velocity will never exceed 74 mph if his leg bends below 94 degrees”

You’d probably run straight to your instructor and ask…

“Could you take a look at his back leg, I’m afraid he’s bending it below 94 degrees.”

Pretty soon, you’d tell another parent and that parent would tell another parent….

Within a few years, guess what?

Any and every arm symptom of arm pain would be attributed to the 78 degree rule…it would become the Ebola of pitching mechanics!

Right?

And what would that lead too?

• It would lead to a new generation of stiff-legged pitcher that shared very similar lower body actions…
• A wave of instructors teaching and preaching the 78 degree rule…
• Coaches getting out rulers, drawing squiggly lines in desperate search for the 78 degree threshold!

And pretty soon, every pitcher in our country would be hog-tied and confined to this rule…

• Pitchers would begin to look alike…
• Instructors would begin teaching the same mechanics…
• Devices would be engineered to guard against the 94 degree threshold…

And then…a new scientific study would appear in the headlines and you’d start back over again, frustrated and ticked off and embarrassed that you ever believed the first one to be true!

Here’s my scientific study, it’s belief based! (Because I belief every pitcher is different, totally unique and unlike anyone else on the planet!)
