Let’s start with step #1….
If you’re the guy on the team that’s constantly getting asked to throw by your teammates… We gotta change something my man.
Because there’s a good chance your throwing program sucks and you’ve got no chance to ever throw to your maximum potential.
That should never happen, you should make your partner uncomfortable because you attempt to throw the ever-living crap out of the ball!
Every 95 MPH + pitcher I’ve ever personally coached, or trained, lives by this rule.
Want to throw harder?
It’s so easy to be competitive while everyone is watching…. When you know you’re going to get a pat on the back, you’re going to get credit and praise.
The real question becomes what are you doing when nobody’s watching?
When you know… You won’t get one single ounce of credit or praise…
Is it the same?
If so, you’re in the top 1%! Congrats!
#3: Throwing is a competitive sport… Pitching is a team sport!
Think of throwing as an Olympic sport.
It’s super competitive. It’s a pre-requisite to pitching. It’s a building-up process.
And it starts with your mind-set…
Compete on every throw!
And if you’re still not sure how to compete inside the individual sport of throwing… Revert back to Rule #1 – Be The Guy Nobody Wants To Throw With!
#4: All roads cross through the center!
It’s the center of your body that’s responsible for you transferring your velocity gains to the mound.
Regardless of how “much’ you’re able to use your legs… It doesn’t matter if you can’t find a way to transfer the velocity up through the middle of your body and into your arm.
It doesn’t matter how strong your arm gets from weighted ball training, or how hard you can ‘run and gun’, if you can’t generate the same velocity on the mound.
Baseball is a rotational sport and you’re only as strong as your weakest link…
As Paul Nyman once said… “The difference between 85 and 95 mph can be found inside the center of the body!”
#5: Tell me what I’m missing by LEAVING A COMMENT below!
I can’t wait to hear what you have to say!
Want to learn more about my unique program, that’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen (I 100% guarantee this)…
Then you’ve got a choice.
#1: If you’re a parent or a pitcher, be sure to grab one of the final spots to my 3-day Pre-Season Core Velocity Program…
This Dad would agree…
Next time I am in Nashville, I owe you dinner man. Coming to your camp was a life changer. Still hard to believe John has committed.

#2: Join myself and other coaches/instructors from around the country to get an in-depth behind the scenes look at my unique program.
There’s a reason I hide my top-secret information.
I know for sure, other coaches (especially one of them) will take it and put their name beside it.
So, that’s why I hide the best stuff for my certified instructors and best of all… Encourage them to take all my top-secret information and make it their own.
Trust what you FEEL!
