Barry Zito Mowing Down MLB Hitters With Little League Fastball (79-82 MPH)

Here's a great story of a $100 Million dollar pitcher having success at the AAA level, and get this... He's doing it with a 79 MPH fastball. If you’re a low velocity pitcher stuck in the mud and unable to pick up any speed, or you’re a guy who struggles with inconsistent velocity… You’re going to love this! But- It also applies to all you ‘obsessive velo’ guys who worry yourself sick about velocity and see nothing wrong with sniping the unsuspecting, on-deck hitter with the good ole’ #1.

Beer + Baptists = Grand Ole Opry (And bad baseball coaching tips!)

And if the title of this post doesn’t surprise you enough, I know this will. Last night I went to the Grand Ole Opry with my sixteen-year old daughter. It was a first time for both of us. Personally, I’ve never seen as many Baptists in the beer line as I did last night with the gospel music playing in the background. They say The Opry is a special place…but now I know why. But that’s not what I’m writing about, in fact, what I was about to witness with my own eyes wasn’t for the adult father of 4. Or any male for that matter. Aaron Tippin walks out on stage with nothing but a mustache on!
